Unakite, also known as Epidote, is a type of granite found primarily in North Carolina, USA, and is characterized by its high density, brittle texture, and distinctive patterns of yellow, green, and brown minerals that appear in a spotted distribution. It is often used in small jewelry and carved pieces due to its unique patterns. In addition to the US, it can also be found in Galway Bay, Ireland, Zimbabwe, Northern Cape of South Africa, Tanzania, and other places.

Unakite is believed by some to bring wealth and is considered a “positive” mineral. It is associated with the solar plexus and heart chakras, and is believed to help transform fear into positive and hopeful thoughts, making it useful for public speaking. 花綠石 Unakite，又稱綠簾花崗石，最初採自美國北卡羅來納州的尤納卡(Unaka)嶺而名。屬於綠簾石的一員，密度高，質地脆，紋理明顯。多向色性很強，呈現黃色、綠色或是啡色等不同顏色的礦物呈斑點狀分佈，因其紋路獨特，常用於小飾品及雕件。產地除美國外，也見於愛爾蘭加勒威(Galway)灣、津巴布韋和南非北角的奇莫斯(Keimos)、坦桑尼亞等等。坊間相傳花綠石能帶來財富，屬於正財的礦石。
